Firewall Rules Not Working On Programs On Other Harddrive

Hello,

I am trying to create Firewall rules for programs installed on my second harddisk. (D:)

However when creating the rule this pops up:

Firewall Error - Failed to communicate with the Bitdefender Security service! [Ok]

Now the only way to allow or disallow internet access for these programs i have to turn on paranoia mode and wait for the multiple pop-ups everytime i run those programs.

Rules are working fine on my main drive (C:)

Any ideas?
