Virus Signatures Fail To Update

After re-installing twice, 'seems to be -stuck- on this:

Bitdefender has updated its virus signatures.
The update version is 7.66297.
The signature number is 7110319.

... but this:

... says:

Is there a fix?

My Bitdefender Free Edition for the last 4+ hrs is still on update version 7.66297 with the signature number 7110319. Maybe some issue with Free Bitdefender update servers ?

Hello,

Most plausible scenario is that you had a bigger update pending a reboot, after the reboot the product continued with the update process.

Another would be that after the restart you got routed to a different server in the cloud that was more suitable for your location.

Despite all that, happy to see that the situation has been resolved.
