Using Bitdefender Total Security 2016 (Windows 7 64 Bit OS). After a few weeks following the installation of Bitdefender, Intrusion Detection System and Active Threat Control modules began switching off when i closed down my laptop. Also, could no longer scan (HP) using wireless or USB. Solution- uninstall BD and then reinstall using BD DVD. Bingo, both modules now working correctly. To sort the scan problem i created a Firewall zone following a BD guide, again, problem solved. Uninstall/reinstall may seem a bit drastic, but it worked.
