Bitdefender Internet Security 2008 Slow Down My Notebook Startup... :(

Dear Bitdefender team

I am using bitdefender internet security 2008 on notebook with 2ghz and 2gb ram (Vista Home Premium Fully Update)

I notice that when the icon of bitdefender autostart appear on my notebook system tray, the blinking lamp of process is stopping. And then it will start again after 1-2min. I have this issue just after i installed bitdefender on my system. Previously i used avast!home and didn't have this symptom at all.

Is it my bitdefender too heavy on memory usage? or is it because of what?

And other thing, i enabled bitdefender firewall and disabled windows vista firewall. The bitdefender agent on the system tray always gimme a pop up and ask a permission that i have allowed before. Can the setting and rules of the allowed connection be saved? It really annoying. Or maybe i just need to disabled the bitdefender active firewall and switch to windows firewall instead?

Hi. I'm just passing trough but am familiar with your problems. Download the new version BD Internet Security 2009. Is your license current?

Interesting enough I found I can delay startup items until BD has loaded using free winpatrol 2008.

This utility also provides very interesting system info and the price is right. By delaying many startup programs until BD loads appears to speed up loading on vista and probably xp.
