I Need Help With My Computer

Options

When i turn my computer on , it loads until the Windows Logo screen and after that the screen goes totally black , sometimes the "welcome" screen freezes also . <img class=" />

But i can run the computer in safe mode , though i can't visit any windows xp support sites , nor any virus forums including this one .

The computer is running a bit slowly , real edgy sometimes . The CPU usage is still 0%-5% or so .

The only evil file I can see here(and present) is C:\WINDOWS\wnlmdakqlag.dll

Please attach it in a passworded archive along with a BitDefender scan log and an AVIS Complete System Log.

It might be a good idea to disable any realtime protection enabled in both antivirus software before copying the file and creating the log.

It would also slightly speed up the process if you could also attach your hosts file(c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts) in the same archive.

    Hello Juhmard,

Try this to get back into normal mode:

Press the windows button together with r now type msconfig press enter. Now select diagnostic startup press on ok. Reboot your pc again. This will only load only drivers and services that are necessary to start windows.

The only thing to be able to let BitDefender work is starting the services manually. To do that press the windows button together with r now type services.msc. Left click on each service that starts with BitDefender and on the left side press on start.

Can you please download combofix you will find it here. Print the following instructions and read them carefully. Please post the output of the scan into your next post. So I or someone else can see if there is still some infections.

    Kind regards,

    Niels
