Bitdefender 2008 Network Connection Problem?

Hi all - I'm having a problem with BitDefender I believe ... possibly the firewall or the software?

I notice speradically (every 5 hours on average) I get booted from Pidgin (IM/AIM) and it reconnects. I tried many things including reinstalling BitDefender, new home switch, checking LAN connection (never drops), and disabling the firewall. I guess my next step could be completely uninstall BitDefender. The Pidgin software says a conflicting software problem, but then reconnects.

The weird this is this happens on BOTH my home PCs (Vista and XP).

Any ideas or is anyone else experiencing/experienced similar problem?
