Locked Attachments

I am frustrated with bitdefender internet security 2008. It locks all the received e-mail attachments and wont even let me save them. I tried to find a way to unlock them but failed miserably. If I cannot find a solution then I shall uninstall and install Avast on my 3 computers.

Someone please help as the support team at bitdefender have disregarded all my pleas for help " />

Hello tanzanos,

1)What was your previous security solution? I recommend that you follow the instructions in this topic.

2)Download this BitDefender uninstall tool.But first right click on the red BitDefender icon near the system tray now double click on the uninstall tool and run it. You will be asked to reboot please do so. Install BitDefender again.

If you have spybot search & destroy teatimer please disableit during installation of BitDefender.

3) What e-mail program are you using?

4) What other security software do you have installed?

Actually it was outlook express that was blocking the attachments.
