Upgrade 16 to 17 - What about Firewall rules?

I am facing the following problem / question:


I recently renewed my "membership"  from the 2016 to the 2017 version and have been provided a new code.


Since I would like to use the latest version, I could do an upgrade to the 2017 version (might make sense).


The only problem is that I created tons of firewall rules for various programs, requiring these.


Naturally, during the upgrade process, the 2016 version is removed, bfore the current version is installed.


Will Bitdefender also remove all my previous setting or are they imported in the new 2017 installation?


If they are removed, is there a way to export them before uninstall and import to the new installation?


I already asked the support three or four days ago - but unfortunately received no reply so far...

    All rules are reset upon uninstall/install.


    At this time there is no option to export/import settings, however a feature request has been made.
