BitDefender Free Auto Scan

The old BitDefender Free periodically scanned the computer for viruses. I don't know if this is necessary but my question is does the new version do automatic scans or do I have to request a scan? My last scan was 6 days ago, do I need another at this time?

I don't think there are any auto-scans but to me that's a good thing. I always turn off auto-scanning because it's redundant and useless. There also is no reason to do scans more than once a month and even that may be too much.

Despite the fact that the 2016 version has become better in working with proactive protection, no auto-scan, like in version 2014 sad. This feature was useful and not load the resources of the PC. Everything was done automatically. Now this is not, and manually turn on the system scan is not very convenient compared to the old version and takes much longer to check. Would love the developers to get this feature in the new version.
