Connection Issues Following Installation


I bought the new BD Plus 2017 and as soon as the installation completes I lose internet connection under the claim that my connection is insecure. I spoke with a Linksys technician who assured me the router was in fact, secure and the fact that I've been able to connect when I had Avira and Windows Defender suggests the problem is with BD. Is it a firewall setting? I uninstalled BD and re-installed it only to have the same issues so at this point I have it permanently uninstalled and will seek a refund if this issue can't be corrected. Any ideas how to proceed? Thanks.

    The Bitdefender Anti-Virus Plus does not feature a firewall.


    The error you are receiving is most likely due to the security certificates. Please follow the steps below and let me know if the issue still persists


    - Open Bitdefender


    - Go to Protection > View Modules > Web Protection


    - Disable Scan SSL
