Banned IP Address?


Hey there,


I just finished upgrading my previous version of Bitdefender and when I went to change my password (forgot it), it said there was an error. The message is " The owner of this website (www.bitdefender.com) has banned your IP address"


Anyone else encounter this problem? Please help! I love Bitdefender, but right now I have no virus protection!

    That is a automated ban, most likely you tried login-in several times at a high pace.


    The ban lasts only 30 minutes afterwards it automatically gets removed.


  • Hello WritingWeaver, Yeah,  just wait for 30 minutes then try again, it will be okay. I'm using Bitdefender Total security since 2013, it's working very nice. Thanks.
