Important file/folder permissions deleted after new install (Free)

This happened on both of my computers (Windows 7 64bit): After BDef Free installation, the following folder was found to have all permissions deleted:

C:\Users\cleavlet\AppData\Local\Temp

This folder often serves as a temporary repository during the installation of new software; the lack of permissions blocks/aborts installation (without explanation).

The permissions can/must be edited to correct the condition.

Hello,

It is unrelated to Bitdefender.

One of my testbeds had the same issue without having the product installed. So far only on Windows 7.

Strange it never came to light (for me) until after product install. At any rate this might be classified as "good-to-know" information...
