Trojan.vundo.fjd & Application.drivecleaner.m

Options

<img class=" /> Can't seem to get a response from BitDefender on how to get rid of the remaining bugs; Application.DriveCleaner.M & 2 Trojan.Vundo.FJD's in my system. Also can't get a reason as to how they just slipped into my computer without BitDefender alerting me of them or stopping them.

First ticket provided information on how to get rid of them...didn't work. Still waiting, and waiting. Tried to "chat" but not can't get onto that either. Asks me to email, when I click on "email" I get a page error. Seems everyone has gone home for the day and left me hanging. Was promised a reply within a few hours; that was at 10 this morning. It's not past 5PM.

Any ideas or backdoors I can go through to get this issue resolved?

    Hello Corona,

Can you please post the locations where BitDefender found the infections? If it's inside in installer the only thing you can do is deleting the installer.

Can you please download combofix you will find it here. Print the following instructions and read them carefully. Please post the output of the scan into your next post. So I or someone else can see if there is still some infections.

    Kind regards,

    Niels

PS: I've removed your other duplicate topic.

  • I have the same Trojan. The location is in c:/windows/system32/wvUnOFVL.dll. The Maleware starts with the Process "winlogon.exe" and write a Browser Helper Objects BHO in the Regestry "HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Windows/Currentversion/Explorer/Browser Helper Object".

I think, the maleware is only removable with a boot-cd and access to the harddisc before WINDOWS starts.
