Unable to Uninstall Bitdefender

I've been trying to remove Bitdefender Antivirus Free Edition from my computer for the last few days with no luck. I tried running the uninstall tool from Bitdefender, tried to uninstall it through the control panel and a few other ways with no luck. No matter what I do it still runs in the background the the processes bdagent.exe, vsserv.exe, and updatesrv.exe won't go away. I've even tried to keep them from running during start up but they won't allow me to change any of their settings. Help and advice would be greatly appreciated.

Are you trying to install a new antivirus on your computer? if yes, if you are installing a new antivirus, based from my experience, it will remove the old antivirus completely because the new antivirus will override the old program itself. But try to ccleaner, but make sure you backup any registries before you perform a scan and it will delete those services and registries completely.

I have already installed Microsoft Security Essentials but Bitdefender remains still. I've tried using CCleaner to remove it but that didn't work either. As I said in my original post I've already tried the Bitdefender Uninstall tools as well as trying the methods in the link you provided but nothing seems to work.

Hello,

Please open a elevated Command Prompt(Run as Administrator) and run these two commands :

"C:\Program Files\Bitdefender Antivirus Free\kitinstaller\BPInstaller.exe" action=uninstall /silent

"C:\Program Files\Bitdefender Agent\installer\installer.exe" /uninstall /silent

Yup, I think that did it! It couldn't find Bitdefender Agent but I don't think it matters since I can't find any traces of it running in my Task Manager. Appreciate the assistance!
