cannot turn on protection shield

So, ive been using bitdefender for few years now and it was quite satisfying with only some malware passed through.

Yesterday I upgraded to the latest version, but I found the new version is confusing and with some problems during installation.

And now it seems my device is at risk because I cant turn on the protection shield.

Any idea how or what is the problem here?
