Bitdefender blocking files in my Windows/temp/ folder every second and making my internet slower.

Bitdefender is blocking files in my C:/Windows/temp folder by what I believe is an automatic scan. Let's say I just start to download a game from Steam, Bitdefender will start a scan and start blocking a lot of files. I have to turn the protection shield of (which is like disabling the anti-virus), for it to stop. It also uses a lot of Hard-Disk power.
