Installing new program gets blocked

I am try to install imazing2forwindows.exe which is a backup program for my iPad. Legit program.

It gets blocked trying to put an icon on the desktop C:\users\public\desktop as a protected folder.

I allow it in the warning popup which does not help.

Any opinions on this ?

I didn't expect to get an answer, fast, here but I tried to open a ticket with support and the web site

kept timing out. As a new user that does not make me very happy.

Disable desktop protection.

Go to Secure Files / Protected Directories / Application Access and there allows the imazing 2 application, access

It would not allow a program, I had to allow the whole desktop folder. Still learning the program.

From the Main screen > Protection - View Features > Safe Files > click Off. Run the installation and it should have access to the desktop to make a new Icon. Then turn Safe Files back On.
