Bd Is 2209 Wont Allow Me To Register

Been a BD IS user for the past 3 yrs, despite the little nags here n there, i find that overall its ok, nothings perfect, so I bought a new licensed key for BD IS 2009

Installed first time on Vista was ok, decided to reformat n reinstall Vista and now I cant register.

I have tried the support email suggestion of using the BD Uninstall and installing the software from hard disk (saved the whole software to disk first)) and have tried this method for more than 5 times now...still no go.

Have even downloaded the softwares (Uninstall and BD IS 2009) to disk twice in case the download was corrupted in anyway...still no go.

Whats going on?

Any suggestions and help greatly appreciated.

Thanks In Advance

Great......looks like i hv to manually start BD in services.msc every time i reboot.

What a great software and what good way to spend my hard earned money.

Just waiting to see when it will shut down automatically again.

If this is the kind of support I can expect frm BD. This will be the last.

    Kaspersky here i come.

    Hope everyone read this.

    Hello bct1,

To start this is only a user forum.

No security solution can detect everything. Keep in mind that these creators keeps updating their fake scanners to avoid detection by vendors by uploading their files on sites such as virustotal.com,jotti.org,...

No matter what antivirus you are going to use they will always miss something.

What is that status of each BitDefender service?

To see if there aren't any remaints:

Can you please download combofix you will find it here. Print the following instructions and read them carefully. Please post the output of the scan into your next post. So I or someone else can see if there is still some infections.

    Kind regards,

    Niels
