Fitbit Exclusions

Hello

I had problems transferring files to my fitbit watch and I found if I disable Bitdefender shield it works. So how can I exclude....

a) The device itself (via IP address, although I'm not sure if it's going to remain static!)
The windows Fitbit apps itself, which is a metro app not a desktop one.

Does the watch appear under Computer as a external storage device when attempting to transfer?

Please provide me with the full software name used for the transfer. If possible version as well.
