Malware Suspect

Options

Here is one of a couple of pieces of apparent malware that was telling you your computer was infected and click yes/no to download a virus cleaner. This hooked into windows explorer and was in the c:\windows\system32 directory. There were 3 files but unfortunately the other files were deleted in a cut and paste operation when the malware was still active. There is no password on the file.

It was deleted awhile back. Does Bitdefender recognize and remove Malware? I wrote tech support complaining that the malware Antivirus 2009 was not deteced nor removed by Bitdefender and the reply back was that it was not a virus. These malware program are hardly ever knowingly installed, ususally only by decieptful means.
