Bitdefender 2018 firewall preventing "Easy Connect" working

I have Bitdefender  2018 installed on 3 PCs ( and Kaspersky on a laptop ), all have Win 10 installed. For some reason, when I try to use EASY CONNECT via the MSRA.EXE I get the message "Unable to connect to global peer to peer network". It works fine on the laptop with Kaspersky and it only works on the BD PCs if I disable the firewall. Is there any setting I can change or a rule I can add manually to get Remote Assistance to work via Easy Connect ? By the way, Remote Access does work if I do it by creating an invitation file, it is just the EASY CONNECT option that does not work. Hope someone can help, I can't be the only one with this problem.

  • I did bring up this subject a couple of years ago but the fix didn't last and it was with a different version of BD.
