When I have Protection shield enabled scanning from my Epson printer/scan is extremely slow (10+ minutes). When I disable protection shield it is immediate.
My main problem is two fold.
1. Bit defender isn't telling me it is blocking anything. I uninstalled and reinstalled my Epson drivers a couple of times till I thought about trying to disable bit defender. There are no events popping up in the events window to let me know something is being blocked.
2. No matter what exceptions I add for Epson executables the issue does not go away. I have no idea if I am adding the right one because bit defender isn't telling me.
