So, I don't have an issue with the vulnerability scan itself. It seems to do its job just fine for the most part. I just have one complaint.
On doing my vulnerability scan, it comes back and tells me my wifi network is not secure, that my password is at a "medium" security risk. One problem: My network password is a 42-character passphrase. It's suggestions? "Use a password of at least 8 characters with at least one number or symbol and one upper-case letter".
I mean, that's a JOKE, right? You meant that to be funny? It's 2018, those antiquated "security" measures shouldn't be anywhere near a professional product at this point.
Bitdefender, I'm really hoping you'll see reason here and change what your software thinks is an "adequate" password on wifi networks from here on out. Not for people like me who know better, but for those users that think adding in goofy symbols instead of extending the password length will actually do any real good.
