Why no Local IP address

Options

I've just installed Bitdefender Internet 2019 and added my PC as my first device.

It shows Local  IP as N/A

Have I done something wrong? I'm using a fixed IP address: 192.168.1.2 on our home subnet.

P.S. This is my first post, please be kind to me!

  • I have a similar problem, I use Internet Explorer to view my CCTV which is on 192.168.1.250,  I set it as my homepage but Bitdefender is resetting it to MSN

    Hi Apodida,

Please let me know if you're referring to the IP listing in Bitdefender Central under device info or the local one that you can pull up from your router configuration/command prompt.

    Thanks!

Please try to add the camera IP/s as delimited entries under your Online Threat Prevention exceptions:

    - open Bitdefender and click on Protection from the side-menu

    - click on Exceptions under Online Threat Prevention

    - add the IP/s  , save and restart your browser

Unfortunately I've already done that but Bitdefender still resets IE's homepage to MSN

  • ONE FIX IS TO put firewall settings to default and if u have addition virus scanners like avast make sure u have not clicked on enable OFFLINE MODE!!! I broke my head figuring it out then i realize what i did:/

  • ou can set it from your box.

Just connect to it as an administrator and look for advanced options.

There should be a way to ask your box to give your computer always the same IP address.
