error boot bitdefender rescue cd from usb device

good evening,

my windows 10 PC does not work.

I downloaded bitdefender rescue CD on USB DEVICE WITH Unetbootin from a WINDOWS 10 PC.

When I boot with the USB DEVICE, I get the following message :

LINUX C32 : not a COM32R image "

good evening,

the state of my problem is different today.

yesterday, I downloaded bitdefender rescue CD on USB DEVICE with STICKIFIER from a WINDOWS 10 PC.

When I boot from the USB Device, i get the following error message : Vboxclient IS NOT running - exit

And the analyse doesn''t begin because it doesn't find my hard disk drive. Home and disk are not there, on the bitdefender screen.

When I boot my WINDOWS 10 PC normally, I get the following error message as usual :

screen : windows boot manager

" windows has encountered a problem communicating with a device connected to your computer.

this error can be caused by unplugging a removable storage device such as an external USB drive while the device is in use, or by faulty hardware such as a hard drive or CD-ROM drive that is failing. Make sure any removable storage is properly connected and then restart your computer.

If you continue to receive this error message, contact the hardware manufacturer.

status : 0xc00000e9 ; info: an unexpected I/O error has occurred ".

Hi,

The error appears to indicate that there's an issue with your hard-drive.

You can try entering BIOS to see if your hard drive is recognized. (may need to press any of the following keys right after turning on the computer: Del, F8, F12, ESC, it will depend on the computer manufacturer)

I talked to a friend and he tried with a linux key which showed the files of my hard drive.

We decided to buy an external hard drive in order to save my data.

And then, we'll format the hard drive and install again windows 10.

What do you think about our procedure ?

And Why bitdefender rescue CD does not recognized my hard drive ?

Hi,

Well, it would seem to be a case of missing drivers in that case. It does not detect all models.

If you can manage to save your data by using a linux usb live OS, I'd say to go ahead and do it. You can scan the data later if you are worried about any malware.

During this WE, my friend tried to save my data but the save failed.

Now, I would like to detect if my PC is infected with a malware or virus .....

What can I do ? try another tool which looks like Bitdefender rescue CD ?

Do you currently have a working installation of Windows on the device? If yes, you can scan with Bitdefender in normal mode, the same signatures are used as for the Rescue CD, and if the computer is infected it would detect the same malware as the Rescue CD.
