Bitdefender is causing Onedrive issues..!

I've been using the free antivirus edition happily for almost two years. I quite like it. But lately I am experiencing a weird problem with Microsoft Onedrive. The cloud service keeps syncing my cloud based files I set up for 'only available online'. It's a serious problem since it takes up enormous data usage and it uses up the entire hard drive. After the sync is completed I can re setup everything and everything will be fine for one day or maybe one restart. Then it all starts over again. Onedrive syncing my library..

This describes the issue. This user was using Malwarebytes and experiencing the same problems.Thus I tried switching off the protection shield in Bitdefender and now it all seems to be working fine! For already days now. That makes me think it has to do something with antivirus software. Maybe Bitdefender is downloading all the files to perform a scan or something?


Is this an issue you know about? Are there any solutions? It is a real pity because I'm forced to look for another antivirus.


Is this problem known to be in the paid version?
