Total Control of Application Requests

What I'm thinking of is a feature similar to one of ZoneAlarm; A feature that gives you the full control of whether an application is allowed to access the internet & is allowed to run.

This feature is a part of ZoneAlarm where a pop-up similar to the one of BitDefender when an application is trying to connect to the internet - but this one is far more "aggressive". It pops up EVERYTIME an application is trying to run, make changes OR connect to the internet.

As I'm messing about with a lot of Third-Party applications that changes the name of the *.exe file every time you close the application, it gets frustrating that BitDefender quarantines the file when you try to re-run it. Then you gotta do the process of adding it to all the exception-filters all over again.

Would this be possible, or is there a workaround for files that regularly changes their name? (Adding the folder in which the *.exe file is located, doesn't exclude the *.exe file to be Quarantined.)

Cheers,

An otherwise happy costumer :)
