The ransomware remediation seems to be working well, a little too well though as others have also reported. For me personally, I've had it false flag a fair few times - particularly when updating driver files via NVIDIA GeForce Experience (NGFE) and when running programs that need to encrypt data like user data, e.g. the game "space engineers".
Pretty simple solution would be to have some apps and/or folders be pre-listed on the white-list, like trusted steam games (if not just the entire steam folder, as if that got encrypted it wouldn't really matter much. Just be a pain at most, tbh, considering the most important files you'd loose would be save files - which most of the time are stored in the documents folder anyway and rarely need encryption.) and other trusted apps like NGFE, Intel Driver Support, e.c.t.
It'd also be nice to be able to white-list entire folders instead of just applications and the such - make white-listing every steam game for example a lot easier.
