Bring "update" notifications back to dashboard.

As with previous versions the start page or "dashboard" of the product contained information about updates such as when it was last preformed and if a restart was necessary. I know I can find the update history in notifications now, and that if I right click on the taskbar icon I can open up the dedicated update window, but personally I'd like to see this information brought back to the dashboard. I think the section on the current dashboard that contains "Total Security, Unlimited Devices, Install on another device" could be moved to the dedicated "My Account" section where it previous was and that space could be given to an updates blurb. Thats my $0.02 at least. Thanks.

And preferably ditch the separate update windows. It's an obsolete trend.

Came here to ascertain if Definition Updates now happen automatically (which wasn't the case in my last version), but I remain unsure —based on the three posts above— whether I must carry out the updates manually or not. And if I must, how do I do it?

Hi Walt,

The updates should indeed be downloaded and installed automatically.

In Bitdefender 2019, in Notifications > All, you should see notifications regarding successful updates.
