Quick scan limits

Good morning everybody,

I would love to know the limits of the quick scan: exactly what areas does it cover? Does it scan for memory? AppData folder? Program Data folder? Please if you have any info on what it scans I'd be greateful.

Hi,

It does scan the memory to make sure no malicious apps are loaded in the memory and it also scans apps in critical locations.

It's not quite a substitute for a System Scan which scans the entire system of course.
