Easy to bypass protection

So an easy scenario which should NOT be able to exist: my wife logged into a newly booted Win10 box.  Bitdefender loads.  I log in on my account.  Bitdefender does NOT load as a process under my account.  I go into Task Manager and log my wife out.  Lo' and behold: my computer is no longer protected.  Seems like a pretty easy way of thwarting this vaunted virus protection system.
