Log location, logging enablment

I am using BitDefender Total Security on several platforms. I would like to know where the BitDefender logs are written to on the local system in the specific case of a Windows 10 machine running BitDefender Total Security 2018 and/or 2019. Can the logs be view in the MS Event Viewer, or only as flat files? Where are the flat files located?

If logging settings can be changed (or need to be turned on), I would like to know how.

Hi,

Most logging is turned off by default as the logs can occupy a lot of space on the computer, and in most cases they aren't needed.

To turn logging ON, you need to copy the logger files from C:\Program Files\Bitdefender\Bitdefender Security\logging next to the corresponding executable file (in the same folder). This can only be done in Safe Mode.
