I've never seen an antivirus before where you couldn't look at the scan logs, to see what was found, how long it took, how many files were scanned, what files it couldn't examine because they were open, etc.. Generally to see information about the most recent scan, and also information about scheduled scans. You can even do this for Windows Defender, via the Windows event viewer....and that one's free with the OS.
I don't see any access to scan logs...it's like I can do a scan, but then it's over and so what? No opportunity to look a scan log just after a scan is done, unheard of.
Must be missing something here! Where are the scan logs? Or how do I get to them via the AV GUI, I don't see that anywhere. Nothing. The best I can find is the location of a couple of xml plist files, not exactly what I'd call a professional GUI approach to providing scan events/results.
I'm sure that I must be blind, no AV can be this lame? I paid for this thing, but I'm ready to throw it away and get a real AV product at this point.
