Question about BD firewall ?

I'm running XP PRO SP2 with BD internet security V10.

Should I turn off or no windows firewall since I'm using BD firewall ?

Is not recommended to use two firewall, so if you use BD firewall you should disable windows firewall.

Also BitDefender firewall should normally disable your win firewall from the first installation. But if you are sure that the win firewall is still active you should disable like this:

Click Start and then click Control Panel. Double-click Security Center. Click on Windows Firewall to the lower left corner and then on the radio box Off. You would also like to tick the "I have a firewall solution..." from the recommendations menu in Security Center.

Windows firewall is very poor. It doesn't check outgoing traffic. Only incoming traffic. You are better protected with the firewall of BitDefender.
