Security Widget - no warning sound!

I just looked at my widget, which is normally buried underneath all my open windows and saw 225 connection attempts from a website I was trying to connect with earlier..

Why is there no sound notification for this widget, surely the idea is to let you know immediately that there is a threat!

This current method is absolutely useless..

If there is a sound notification, please inform me on how to activate that as I can't see it anywhere.

Can someone recommend another AV solution as my yearly subscription is about to end????

After 5 years with multiple licenses I no longer feel Bitdefender is suitable for us...

As it is unable to do the basic task of notifying users of suspicious activity with the very minimum of a warning sound notification.

I don't understand why Bitdefender have chosen silent alerts in the widget, there should be a setting for this at the very minimum.

I have to agree, there should be an option for an audio notification. I get widget notifications too sometimes. But by the time I notice them, it's too late to figure out what the source of the threat might have been.

"Thank you for your feedback!" is not an acceptable answer.

I reported this issue 2 years ago via email and still hasn't been added.

This feature should have been a basic setting along with the widget.

My subscription expires in 35 days and I can honestly say we won't be renewing if it's not added.

Indeed, adding a sound notification is worth taking into account in the future and we do value our customer’s opinions when improving our product. For now, we do have some other exciting features on our plate right now for the next implementation.
