Bitdefender blocking google drive uploads

My Google drive uploads were being blocked by bitdefender free edition. I know this because the upload was stuck forever, until I toogled bitdefender protection off and on again so the upload would start. Bitdefender is an awesome product but sometimes is a bit too aggressive, this is one of the examples of how aggressive it can be.

This usually happens when other security solutions are installed. In case you have any other Antivirus, we recommend you to remove it and check if you can upload on Google Drive with the Protection activated.
