Silencing event notifications

My one irritant with BD is how it is "always" telling me it is checking some device in the background.  Firstly, I haven't changed my hardware much at all in the last year.  Secondly, I'm glad BD is on the job, but can't it be set to ONLY tell me if there is a problem, and then, if I want or need a status report I will ask?  Even my theoretically removable drives and such are seldom if ever removed.  This would be a major plus, at least for me.

I would recommend you opening the Bitdefender product and then click on the Settings feature from Antivirus and on "Drives and Devices you can select the option to "ask every time" for example instead of "Autoscan"
