After update, BD Free keeps asking me to reboot.

After the last message, I got a message that BD Free needs to reboot for the update to be finalized. Problem is that I've rebooted countless of times, and I still get the remark that I need to reboot to install the update properly. I've booted it using the reboot button on BD, I even rebooted normally using the windows shut down option. I even deleted the event message thinking that it might keep triggering the reboot message, but nope - the message comes back again, and the pop-up continues to remind me to reboot. I suppose I can ignore it, but I then have no idea if the update is faulty or is installed incorrectly.

    Please try to reinstall Bitdefender using the uninstall tool below:


    https://www.bitdefender.com/files/KnowledgeBase/file/BD_Free_Uninstall_Tool.exe 


    Reboot your PC after and then reinstall Bitdefender Antivirus Free. Now check if you still receive the notifications to reboot.

    If the installation still fails, please send us an email at bitsy@bitdefender.com and include in your email the bdinst files from C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\Temp.
