Windows action center shows Bitdefender disabled

I have two PC’s both have windows 10

I have no problem with My laptop

 

however I installed it on my desktop and after I logon after a minute or so I get a windows notification that antivirus is disabled

i open Bitdefender and it says Protected

if I disable the protection and enable it again,

the windows warning goes away....

 

any way to fix this?

 

these are both fresh installs 

 

The only difference was with my laptop I installed Bitdefender prior to windows update 

 

the desktop i installed it after windows update

In this case I suggest that you update the checklist in the Windows Security Center by following the steps presented below: 

a) Open a command line with administrative privileges as follows

Click the Windows Start menu and type cmd.exe, then right-click on the Command Prompt result and select Run as administrator.

b) In the Command Prompt window, type the command below, then press Enter

winmgmt /verifyrepository

c) You will get one of the following results:

WMI storage is compatible - no problem detected >> go to step f)

WMI deposit is incompatible - problems detected >> go to step d)

d) To rebuild the deposit type, type the command below and press Enter

winmgmt /salvagerepository

e) You will receive one of the results below WMI storage is compatible - no problem detected >> go to step f)

Failed WMI repository failed - Failed to rebuild WMI repository. Try repeating step d) again.

WMI Warehouse Saved - WMI Warehouse Successfully Rebuilt >> go to step g)

f) Reset the deposit to its original state using the command below and press Enter

winmgmt /resetrepository

g) Now restart your computer and check if the problem reappears
