Bitdefender Downloads GBs of Temp Files Filling Drive

Bitdefender is downloading Gigabytes of temp files that fill my Windows Temp folder and take up ALL the free space on my OS drive. There is over 20 GB of temp files at its maximum.

I am currently having to manually delete the files to stop my C drive filling up to capacity.

Please advise for solution, thank you.

At this point, my advice would be to uninstall ZoneAlarm and manually remove these temporary files, then check if the situation persists. In case you are not able to remove the files, you can restart in Safe Mode by following the steps in the article below:

Hi there, a similar problem and question here as well, although I do not have any other AV/firewall software or anything. BitDefender downloads something twice a day and each of such updates weighs 50Mb. Hard to believe that daily virus definition updates could possibly be 100Mb in size. Could you please advise what the deal is with all that?
