Is Elevation_Service exe a Virus? CPU load is high
Hi, I have the Bitdefender free antivirus from quite a long time now however from yesterday I had noticed my CPU usage going through the roof and constantly stays above 70% 80%. I found that a program called Elevation_Service.exe is using a lot of cpu Is this a virus or some sort of malware? I have run a scan and it came out clear I am so confused. I read here (https://securedyou.com/what-is-google-chrome-elevation-service-exe/) that it is not a virus and is something to do with Chrome browser updates? I followed it and deleted it but when I shutdown and power back on it comes back I am pretty sure its a virus that installs itself after boot? Can someone please shed some light on this. Thank you
