Installing Av2009 On Top Of Free Edition

Hello,

we are currently "migrating" from the free edition to the full Bitdefender Antivirus 2009;

the question is: should be uninstall the BD Free Edition before installing AV 2009?

We tried not to uninstall the free one and did an installation of AV 2009 which seems to be ok but noticed that the Free Edition was still there so we uninstalled it after; not sure what is the best approach.
