Safe files

Hi,

I believe that BitDefender is blocking me from saving my engineering software working files to my working folders. Searching through BitDefender I discover references to Safe Files and it seems to me that this could be the culprit. Further searching via FaQ etc brought me to a BitDefender advice page directing me to click on Protection and then open a Safe Files pane. I can find a Protection to click on, but have searched and searched and searched but cannot find a Safe Files pane there nor anywhere else.

Helpful advice will be much appreciated, thanks.

Found it!

It seems I was in an internet portal to my BitDefender dashboard, as opposed to the dashboard embedded within my pc, if that makes any sense.

Good to know you have figured out solution yourself. Additionally, you can also add the desired application/ software/ file to exclusion list. This way bitdefender will not interfere with your engineering software.
