Does Bitdefender Free protect against MBR Malware?

Is it effective against these types of malware?

Bitdefender free will protect you against MBR malware through signature based engine (detection created by malware researchers). Understand, all bitdefender products whether free, paid (consumer) or enterprise use the same signature based engine.

Additionally bitdefender does have behavior blocker included in its product. So you are all clear and you should not worry.
