Bitdefender blocking bitdefender.com due to possible threat (SSL)

Hi, I noticed Bitdefender Free keeps interfering with my browsing, by blocking sites with potential threat detected (SSL problems), including bitdefender.com. I suspect the root certificates Bitdefender Free uses are not updated. How can I update them?
