Outlook And Bitdefender Firewall Problem

Hi guys,

I hope you can help me out......I purchased Bitdefender the other day and was excited to get it onto my machine because it seems much more lightweight than the other ones like McAfee etc.....

But not I have hit a huge problem and it is killing me.........I can see OUTLOOK has the following settings:

Outlook.exe TCP (Protocol) BOTH (Direction) Remote Address (ANY) Remote PORT (ANY) ALLOW

I have also gone into the ruleset and it looks 100% for outlook......everything is ALLOWED to any server etc and allow connection is YES for both the inbound and outbound settings.....

If I turn off the bitdefender firewall and launch OUTLOOK it works 100%.....the moment I enable the firewall again something goes wrong....

To add to the confusion if I VPN into work with Bitdefender active it allows OUTLOOK to work 100%......

PLEASE help me here, I am pulling my hair out over this issue......I need to connect to Outlook ;-)
