Hide BitDefender Icon from Menu Bar

I followed the discussion at this link (https://www.bitdefender.com/consumer/support/answer/1720/) and tried to hide BitDefender icon but it did not work. Even after a safe reboot and normal reboot, I see BitDefender icon in my menu bar.

Is there another way to hide this icon?
