blastrb2

i tried for the past week, and emailed for help. i was helped but couldn't sen a compressed file of the blastrb2.

this is located in the C:\Program Files\Logitech\Resource Center\Installers\wildtangent\blastrb2 (which is a Trojan.Html.___.databaseexec.cc

I tried everything to delete it but nothing happens. i tried to uninstall logitech and access is denied.

Logitech is a rollerball track mouse,

i purchased this from a physical store: Office Max several years ago.

here is what i tried:

1.i went into safe mode, didn't work

2.went into my computer to program files to delete access denied

3.tried add/remove program access denied

4.i emailed help desk and sent them a log report and they made a reply as to have 5.me use winzip to compress the folder with the virus and encrypt it, so it could be sent to them for analasis. i made sure firewall virus protection and adware is turned off so i can send the commpressed file. again it couldn't be sent.

i have windows xp home edition.

this problem started a few months ago. Norton never detected it, but BD did.

my sysytem restore is rendered useless, crippled, non working. ( i uninstalled norton and installed BD.

Do i need to purchase BD plus 10 or BD internet security.

I suggest that you download unlocker: http://ccollomb.free.fr/unlocker/unlocker1.8.5.exe Install it rightclick on wildtagnet and blastrb2 choose for unlocker choose for unlock all. After that try to delete these files.

Try this for your system restore problem go to start, run,at the run dialog box type services.msc press enter. Search for the system restore service and double click on it and by start up type choose for automatic and press on start or restart. If that fails put in your windows installation cd-rom go to start, run,at the run dialog box type cmd press enter. After that type sfc /scannow and press on enter. Now windows will repair corrupt windows files or replace missing files.
