Parental Controls Not Recognizing Certain Accounts

Hi all,

I just installed Bitdefender on a friend's computer, and they wanted to use the parental controls for their kids. However, when I go into the parental controls panel, only one of their two children's accounts are listed. The account not listed is the one that was logged in when I installed Bitdefender. Is this account under a different name, or just not being found?

In my case, BitDefender found all users on my system (including the one which was logged on when I installed BD).

That user might have a different name (it happened to me once when I upgraded my system from Win98 to Win XP without any formatting. The first user in XP had the right name in the loggin screen, but in the registry it had the Win98 name). Look in C:\Documents and Settings and see if you find the folder named as the user that BD doesn't list. If there is no folder with that name, then it means it has another name.

If you find the correct folder, the n it means that there's something wrong with BD, in which case you might want to ask for assistence at www.bitdefender.com/live-assistance (choose Technical Support)
