Can't Scan Password Protected
it won't let me scan certain items because it says it's password protected. how do i fix this

What files are being detected? You can obtain that information by doing this open BitDefender. Switch to advanced view press on history. Click on the left side on antivirus. At the right side you should see an entry called scan completed double click on it after that press on show logfile and post your logfile.
BitDefender can only scan these files when you enter the password. No other security solution can open a password protected item.

i can bring up the log but that's it. it doesn't give me an option for anything. please help!0 -

If you don't post your logfile I can't help you. I need to see the location of these files. Like I said you need to unpack these archives by the password that is used to protect them. So BitDefender can scan the extracted files. Sometimes password protected items are inside installers the only thing that you can do there is deleting the entire installer or excluding them from a scan.
